Hello, we have released an improvement to the error reporting when animations failed to load. It should provide additional context that will help you (and us) debug the specific issue. Please reply here with a case that still repros this error and the new message details and we can investigate further. If there are no active cases of this, we will close this thread but you are welcome to start another if the issue crops up again. Thank you!

I don’t have a ‘problem’ with this, but since you asked, I get these errors, for example this is the Roblox Sit animation: SitV2 - Roblox

failed to load 105 times in the last 7 days:
105 Client Failed to load animation with sanitized ID rbxassetid://2506281703: Animation failed to load, assetId: https://assetdelivery.roblox.com/v1/asset?id=2506281703

I didn’t include the placeId because I don’t need help with fixing this.

Thanks.

thats the opposite for me. my animations only play in live, not studio.,

Roblox Animations are just super broken right now, and rather than fixing per-existing issues which have been plaguing the platform, they choose to put their resources towards developing features nobody asked for, like “AI Assistant”.

I’m having problem with animation

Mmm since Roblox update I feel like the animation id number increased the number of digits since maybe it’s because there’s so much animation being handled on Roblox

Seems to work on Studio for me maybe I have to wait a couple hours before it works in Roblox play

The same situation happened to be while I was making a game in a group of mine. The only way I could fix it is by saving it to Roblox and set the creator to the group not me. If you publish the animation and set the creator to “Me” while the game is owned by the group, the error will be printed out. If you own the game and not any other group does, then I’m sorry but this is what I could come up with.

The issue is still ongoing when publishing certain animations., but it seems to fix itself when reuploading them.

there’s a simple fix. this videos goes extremely in depth on how to fix the issue and why it’s caused: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icu8ej4FHy0
