[FEEDBACK] A farming town

We’re working on a farming game with the player farms surrounding a town with shops, selling station for crops, etc.

Question 1: I’m thinking the town looks a little too wide and too sparse, but I’m not sure. Maybe I’m just overthinking it… Does it need more decorations?

Question 2: We set the trigger circles for the shops inside the buildings. I noticed a lot of games have them outside the buildings for convenience. So in our game the player has to explore the town and go in the buildings to find where to buy things. Is that a bad thing? Should we just put the trigger locations outside the buildings?

First post, thank you everyone

First, I like your build from an overall standpoint. Keep up the good work.

Answering your questions: 1) Depending on the time period and setting you are trying to represent, perhaps the roads are too wide. That’s a dirt road, right? Is this a small community or a “big city” farming town? Perhaps that will guide you. I also wonder if the style of your buildings fit the setting you are trying to achieve. 2) I think it’s a great idea to have the player go inside the buildings to explore. That can be a much more immersive experience.

Nice job so far!

Your build looks pretty good so far. Something I would consider is possibly making the roads narrower as seen how wide they are, it just looks off a bit. Looks a little empty with everything spread apart from the roads. I believe the shop triggers inside should be good, but in the beginning of the game, you can always add a tutorial that goes through the flow for each building and what they do. Keep up the great work!

I think this game looks great! The builds are outstanding! The only thing I see wrong in that the UI is cramped in one corner. All I would recommend is for you to space out the UI. Don’t stop developing this masterpiece!

Hello! I’m @Lil_SharkyBoy a Programmer and a 3D Artist on the platform, and I have to say that it looks Good so far, but I Will highly recommend to make the furniture on Blender or any other 3D Modeling Software, since this ones are made for this and both we know that you won’t get the same result with Blender, Cinema 4D, etc that with Studio.

Also, I would like to help if it’s needed because right now I’m really free to be honest.

What is this based off of? Like 2020 farm town or more of a 1980 farm town?

I really like the style of the game, and i respect the amount of effort it must have taken to make such a town. Nice work!

oh. my. god. That is really good and actually quite realistic tbh. Because when i saw the pictures i almost thinked that was not roblox but other games. Keep up with the great work!
