Howdy people! I just made this low-poly cafe and I would like some feedback/ good criticism on what I did wrong and what I should do next time to improve my future builds. All feedback is good feedback so don’t hold back.
Btw where is your cafe? 30 chars
Just added the photos since I didn’t do it the first time.
From the point of view of a visitors I like how it looks but the sides seem completly forgotten
I like the low poly style but I see your cafe got boxes but no doors beside it. Add umbrella on the table also add some garbage can and try the 1st floor not the same size as ground floor. Thats it thanks
Should I add some more windows/bricks to fill up the space?
Thank you for the advice! I will be sure to try it.
Nice! It looks so good! I wish I could build like that!
Thank you for saying that about my build! I will try to improve upon my future builds to make it even better.
I love the design and it’s style, I think it’s only missing a sign to go on the front
Thank you for saying that about it, and I will be sure to implement your idea into my build.
Looking good! You could add maybe like a handle to the door and a sign that says “Open/Closed” and maybe a sign above the door saying “Cafe” or the name. Definitely make the size of the table bigger, looks like it could only hold one small plate. Regarding the table you could add some mini legs to it at the bottom. You should however add some more chairs and tables outside and some more details to help represent and show how that’s a cafe cause rn it kind of looks like just a building with some crates outside and a table.
Thank you for the advice, I will be sure to implement your ideas into my build to make it feel more like a cafe and not a building with random crates outside.
It’s a very good attempt at a low poly cafe, but if you’d like to improve, try to not have the bricks you made so clustered up only at the front. You might want to remove many of those bricks because they look like a mess. At the sides, it seems like there’s no detail there as well. You should add those bricks or windows as well to give it more detail. A nice touch would be adding some sort of umbrella over the 2 chairs you have upfront. Another good fix is making that green size a bit bigger. Also, what kind of cafe is this? I don’t see some sort of sign. Why don’t you add a coffee cup on top of the building to add some attraction.
That’s all I have, hopefully this feedback would help.
A very nice, simple, low-poly design. I like the overall design.
Now that the building part is almost finished, I’ll focus on the scene you want it set in. Add some umbrellas, larger tables, maybe a sign that indicates it’s a cafe, like the ones that are usually next to the door part etc. Some nature would be cool too, in the form of trees, bushes, or potted plants that sort of stuff could work in my opinion. Overall, it’s a very good-looking individual build, but would look even better with the finishing details added to it.
I’ll try adding some awnings hanging on the window so the chairs and tables can be underneath it, however, if you feel the need to add that I’ll try creating one and see how it looks I would try adding some minor detail to the top of the roof such as vents, just to make it not too plain and empty.
Otherwise, good job
Uhh… Nice but ur cafe look so weird
Woah! Amazing job on the cafe! It looks beautiful in my opinion (maybe because I primarily do low-poly haha) I like the colors of the outside, definitely makes it unique! I really love the chairs and tables, they look very nice with the build. The only thing I would recommend is to make the same style plants out in the front instead of 2 total different plants. Other than that, good work on the build!
Where the plants are
Example of plants in a pair
Thank you all for the feedback!!! I really do appreciate it, it helps me understand what minor details I need to add to the build to make it more like a cafe and not some random building. I will make sure to use all of yalls ideas to improve my build to make it better then before!
Well thank you for saying that about my cafe, and I will make sure to take your idea and implement it into my build.
Thank you for complimenting my cafe, and adding nature into it would make it feel more emmersive/appealing. I will make sure to use your tip.
