this is cool keep it up
add lightings to the demon
What demon? You mean me, the duck? Where do I put the light about the ‘demon’?
sorry it was about the duck
u can light the duck’s front side like you gave lightning to backside of the noob
Not sure how lighting the front would make the back look like lightning, but maybe I could’ve added some light or something to give it more attention and make it look deadly or something?
you should always give lightings to the subject ig duck is the main subject
I meant to give the same light which you gave for the noob’s backside
It is lit up, look at the shadows, plus you can see it clearly. Also, I don’t know how I feel about multiple lights because it’s presumably sunlight.
It’s your first one , should be precious to you.
Looks very good👌
It’s pretty good but a couple things you could fix, lighting, you want to give your characters a brighter look and not as dark. Atmosphere, I suggest that you look into using a hdr which can give a great lighting backround effect, here is a great website for them. HDRIs • Poly Haven
And lastly posing, I recommend you give the other character a pose too.
Do you know of any tutorials for good lighting?
I recommend watching this whole video, rendering roblox scenes in blender - YouTube
He shows you how to make great gfx and how to have good lighting and use a hdr and more.
Try recreate and go through the video with him if you wish, its good.
Looks nice, I’ll probably try it out tomorrow.
A simple and good HDR tutorial, Blender 2.8 How to setup an hdri environment background - YouTube
I really recommend you to learn Blender fundamentals first before getting into Roblox stuff. I suggest you to watch and do everything that you see and hear in this YouTube playlist. It will teach you all the basics from basic modeling to even basic rigging and etc. First Steps - Blender 2.80 Fundamentals - YouTube
I would recommend using an HDRI to light up your scene for more dynamic lighting, I would also recommend using a rig for better posing because it’s slightly awkward. Definitely good for a first render
Wow, your tutorials were very helpful. In the GFX video, do you know how he imported the Roblox character? I tried messing with the way I imported it and I got a different result every time.
He went to file then import then click the obj and import that. Then be sure to seperate all objects, should be setting when importing it to check or uncheck. He used a rig of some sort to move the characters btw, which you can find on youtube somewhere, like roblox bend rig how to pose characters.
