Feedback on my FNaF "fan-game"

Hey all!

A while ago, I got the idea to make a FNaF fan game using my own characters - Five Nights at Taco’s. I started work, and eventually finished it, not only publising it but also making a post here on the devForum: Working on a FNaF 1 fan-game

This was 3 years ago, and as much as I enjoyed making it - it sucks. Not only appearance-wise, but also behind the scenes. The code is messy, the location has questionable rooms and camera spots, not to mention the multiple issues with the mechanics and the bugs that inevitably came with them.

Lately, I once again got the idea to give a game like this a shot. Planned to be in the same universe as the initial one (although that one will not be canon, if I ever get the crazy idea to attach lore to this). This time, the game I would like to share with you isn’t exactly polished in any way - Basically everything is a rough draft (this includes the map, the characters and even the camera positions), but I would like to make this an actual fleshed-out game. This version is just meant to demonstrate the early mechanics and how my skills have supposedly improved compared to the last game (you can also check that out if you’d like).

Once again, this is not a demo, nor a beta or even alpha release. This is practically a prototype. But that’s exactly what I want to get feedback on - how the movement feels, how the UI looks and functions, and most importantly, how the animatronic AI behaves and looks. EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE!

With that being said, the instructions are stated upon joining, the game is sadly PC only (mobile support is a whole other can of worms I don’t want to open yet), and the game should run fairly well on low-end PCs (Trust me, mine is old and it can run well on 5 graphics quality)

THE GAME: Five Nights at Dummy's - Roblox

ANY kind of feedback appreciated! Have a great day!

Also, I know the restart button is extremely buggy. That won’t be in later releases and it will be replaced with a button going back to the lobby. Please excuse that.

Its amazing! It looks simple but has the classic FNAF atmosphere, the amount of relief i experienced when the clock hit 6:00 AM is insane.

By the way, when you flick the camera pad you can see dummies’ tags on the map. It doesnt really give you any intel but i though i’d still let you know.

Hope to play this again with some progress in the future! Good luck!
