I have been working on my SCPF game, (its barely done, right now it’s just a single hallway) and I don’t know if I should work on it. I also want some feedback for better ideas or suggestions to make it better! Keep in mind, I’m a programmer, not a builder so help and tips on my building would be great (As the current hallway looks a bit bland)!
Of course! You should keep on continuing your project! Here are some tips I can give you:
Maybe be creative with your textures and materials, don’t put in straight out full grey and diamond plates, it gives a better atmosphere for the hallway.
Try to smoothen out some parts such as the edges.
Be creative and mindful with your colors. I personally don’t know how an SCP lab/hallway looks exactly like, but the pink neon above seems odd.
Other than that, the detail you put in this is amazing! Keep up the good work!
I’d suggest going lighter with the diamond plate and using slate or something similar instead, it makes it look messy and pulls the attention away.
You could also add props like plants/carts/tables if you wish, or add detail to the top and sides like machinery, vents, etc.
Overall I think it looks alright now.
