Feedback on my Song (Part 2...)

Hello again, everyone! I made another song, and I would like you to rate it!
(See previous post here: Could I get some feedback on my song? - Help and Feedback / Creations Feedback - Developer Forum | Roblox)

This time it’s a more mysterious, suspenseful theme instead of being cheerful or relaxing.

It’s pretty repetitive and the Bass is a little too loud in my opinion. But other then that I like it, it puts you on edge

In my opinion it is pretty repetitive, it never really changes. I got a very wild western feeling over it all tho, which was nice :cowboy_hat_face:. As you said in the post too, it is really myserious and suspenseful.

use better soundfonts in your music. idk what software u are using but the instruments are weird, soundfonts can help with that. they are basically just digital instruments and there are like hundreds of thousands of them and u can find the perfect one for any instrument any vibe. thats why its only decent.

also your notes are good for like ambience, but not really for much else, because its too repetetive and all

it’s kinda meant to be quiet, ambient music that just adds to the atmosphere. i’ll probably change the instruments too, thanks :+1:

yeah, because if it was meant to be quiet, ambient music, i wouldn’t expect the instruments to be so sharp and hard hitting, more of like soft guitars and basses

The atmosphere is rather stale than suspenseful, actually. Mostly because the pacing is slower than it would be, as well as the rhythm isn’t particularly that interesting. You might take some notes on syncopation for an idea. Additionally, the frequency the sounds are mixed together seems more brassy and bassy, which makes it more sludgy.

Improvements for it could be adding more contrasting elements that creates some distinctions. You might also accompany the current sound with some pads or bell-like(that isn’t too low in pitch) elements on top. Some other notes include structural improvements, giving your music some good contrast in terms of sections.

Take an example of how I can blend the sound with appropriate balances:

This song sounds good, nice job on it! How long did it take to make? Will it be used in anything?

Hello! In my opinion, it is somewhat decent. But… it is a bit repetitive and the sounds are not as “expressive” or “engaging.” Maybe change the tune up for how the music sounds so it does not sound as pixelated as it is right now.
