Im Making a website where Roblox Developers can create unique, professional portfolios by dragging widgets onto a drag-and-drop grid system.

The video above shows the widget system so far.

I am creating this website as the Portfolio Category has been closed and the Talent Hub Creator Pages don’t allow for as much customisation, in my humble opinion.

What would a final portfolio look like? How would these be accessed for individuals? Is there any embed support?

I think this is a cool idea because as an employer I want to be able to get all relevant information about an applicant quickly. Just need more information on what the end product would look like though.

Heres an old-ish concept of what others would see when visiting your portfolio. the concept was recently created but the widgets are from an older concept.

Users will be able to see how many views the portfolio has, like the portfolio and give the portfolio an award (its similar to reddits award system) and comment on portfolios.

This concept is just one example of what the portfolio could look like - the system is highly customisable.

I suggest you to add automatic watermarking, make sure you won’t get sued one day :stuck_out_tongue:
To make money you can add a few google ads (money gives you the motivation to make the site better so it’s all good to accept it)

Yeah I like this. I think this would be helpful. Your primary challenge though will be getting widespread usage.

I’m near speechless. This is tremendous and is what most small creators need to be found. This would benefit me heaps. The GUI look very clean. I have one question - how are you making this website, are you scripting the whole thing? Also, please notify me when this is finished. Stunning job keep up the amazing work.

I am using html, css and js for the frontend and django (python web framework) for the backend. and yes I am scripting coding & programming the whole thing.

yea, hopefully people will link to their portfolio in their social medias accounts thus drawing traffic to my website as well as new users.

Can I ask what should be watermarked, images owned by Roblox that I am using or images uploaded by the users?

When a user uploads their image, you should add a automatically generated stripped watermark of their username on the image optionally or obligatory according to the user’s configurations.

This looks absolutely amazing! I do have a few questions however:

  • What are options to share portfolios? (e.g. embed)

  • Is there a planned release date?

  • Would it be possible to share portfolios as PNGs or other image types? I’m aware that there are slideshow/carousel features but could there be an option to just share it as an image?

Really looking forward to this, it looks so clean and professional :+1:
