It looks great and I love the design, because I’m sure It take too much work. Excellent looks great.
This is an amazing creation. The only flaws that stick out to me is how bright the spinning part is. I suggest removing a lot of the lights to make it less eye-bleeding. The orange spheres on the front of the ship are out of place. I’d suggest replacing them with compartments/rings that encircle the long line there. Something is needed to break it up, which the spheres do, but they are still out of place.
Wow! I am so surprised how good this comes out. This is even because you only used parts. Congratulations man!
Amazing! The ammount of detail on that only with parts. Amazing!!
Damn! Amazing job!
You should try to learn modeling in blender. It’s really not that hard, especially if you’re already skilled in Studio, and it’ll drastically reduce poly count and therefore lag in your game. You’d be surprised at how inefficient CSG is in terms of poly reduction, and not using unions is even worse.
Good luck with your game, and possibly modeling career!
can i ask what you mean by out of place ?
i was attempting to go for some kind of vauge liquid cell containers.
gold foil external tank, at the same time giving an “indusdrious” look.
now, i did use smooth plastic, so no foil texture, but thats the basic concept i was trying to semi emulate.
also, im pretty sure that the rows are the same distance from the main pylon and are centered on the y axis.
Could you put pictures of the inside?
And if there is no inside, why?
I can imagine lots of things you can do with the inside.
Other than that, good build!
thanks
but yeah no inside.
its not close to the scale it would have to be to have an interrror.
being a ship that carries all of humanity into the deep unknown.
(allthough i am exprimenting with viewports and windows to create “rooms” within the ship.
maybe…)
I think they’re too big, because if this ship is massive then those containers are giant, so maybe scale them down? Also, this ship is very futuristic, so I’d imagine a change to the containers themselves to help match with the rest of a build. Maybe you could make the orange less saturated or make it gray. Also, they are parallel, I meant that they didn’t fit with the build.
Anyway, I forgot to say how amazing your build was in my last reply, so I’ll do it now. Your build is amazing!
kinda makes sence, but then i feel like it would be too much empty space, if i made it smaller.
and, i was worried the containers were actually too small.
like, if its holding “that” volume of people, well they need water and oxygen many times that volume per day.
as for the orange, i really only experimented with it with the gold foil, the containers i was going for a more metallic look. originally they were colored, but lets just say it diddent turn out well. i might however add some structrual components to the otherwize simple containers (maybe try the orange again).
and yeah, for the stuff allready orange, i might tone it down a notch
thanks for the feedback
this looks great i love it! i look forward to seeing it on the front page
The neon is overpowering, I suggest lowering it down a bit.
