After much experimentation with glass, I was able to make a script that adds warp, distortion and fisheye effect.
Other Examples
I tried to make it as customizable and beautiful as possible
You can configure:
Warp size
Sway effect
Z Tilt
X, Y Warping
Weird mesh
Made of this weird mesh
Issues
Works only on a graphics level 8 or more
The glass has a shine from the sun
Sometimes it enters in parts, most often when the distance is greater than 1
Hides decals, particles
Here is video example:

Cool resource. This makes me want Roblox to add the ability to write custom screen shaders very badly…

Doesn’t work with water, makes it disappear

That’s (unfortunately) typical behavior for glass on Roblox. Transparent parts rendered behind glass don’t appear when looking through said glass. Neither does terrain water, nor do particles. Annnd this resource heavily relies on glass.
Roblox’s way of saving processing power.
Warning: Non-opaque Objects - Non-opaque objects are currently not visible through glass. This includes, but is not limited to, transparent parts, decals on transparent parts, particles, and world-space gui objects. This behavior matches the refraction on high quality smooth terrain water. This was implemented so refraction wouldn’t have a large performance impact. This behavior may change. We do not recommend relying on this behavior for gameplay.

roblox isnt like a game
its an entire game engine-
and even if roblox was only a game and not both a game engine and a game, they would still suck at fixing things because there would be no difference if roblox studio was gone

Oh my God.
I have never seen anything done like this in Roblox…
I’m gonna faint each time I see this in Roblox Studio.

Did you use Viewport frames?
That’s all I can think of.

It’s using the glass material to create this effect.

It isn’t just the glass material.
That would look like this:
What is making everything else but the glass?

glass is the only material that warps, also you might be using it wrong

im assuming the way it was done was by putting the transparency high and adding a highlight feature to it

warps on higher graphics only You should serach up camera skewing on the forum you could mess with the camera to imitate the fish lense effect
