Follower Count Broken

I remember seeing myself at 9.4K followers at around a day ago since I have a game which asks users to follow me. However, I noticed it went down to 8.1K so I tested following myself on an alt account and it did not update my count on the website or the api

Note that you can still see new followers on my follower tab, but the count just doesn’t update.

You can test this out by following me then refreshing the api

Expected behavior
I obviously expect the count to update and stay when someone follows me.

Follower count not updating after bug fix on 10/14

It’s not very known, but when you hit 10K followers for the first time, Roblox removes all the ones they detect as bots, which explains the significant drop. After this happens, your follower count no longer updates instantly. It updates around every 24 hours, I’m assuming because each follower goes through some manual verification before it’s added to the count. Intended behavior.

Do you know what time of the month verified badges are given out? I know they happen once a month but its past the 1st and I haven’t received mine. (I contributed to a game with required playtime)

They’ve temporarily paused these badge waves for some reason, and it’s been like this for a few months now. This could be due to the amount of people purchasing verified badges illegitimately. Before they paused, they would happen once a month on a random day.

I have seen UGC creators get verified recently, is the pause only for game developers? Will my 1M hours of playtime count and get me verified after the pause or will that progress just be erased?

No one has been verified for about 3 months except for Star Creators. Nobody knows the reasoning, what will happen, or what they’re doing. Nobody knows if the requirements will be changed or kept. We can only wait.
