I’m wondering if there will be transparent object functionality with shadows. For now it just disappears around 0.5 transparency.

Try it with decals, it seems to work with decal transparency really interesting.

Hi! I unioned everything in my game accidentally and I briefly saw this and thought dang, this looks weird. Of course its new so Its expected, but still looks weird and funny lol. Can’t wait to see this in action, I’ve loved experimenting with it privately but now that it’s public is awesome! Can’t wait to see how people use it in their games!

In this model, how is sunlight colour calculated, and is it possible to manually configure the colour of sunlight theoretically? I think that would be a useful property to expose to developers as a way to further control how sunlight looks.

The sunlight color currently is calculated as a function of ClockTime; we definitely intend to allow devs to control it in the future directly.

You should make an option in the configuration panel to disable and enable the ShadowMap.
(So you do not have to download the graphics to disable the SwadowMap.)
(Sorry if you do not understand me much.)

You can do this in the lighting properties. No need to do it in the settings menu.

I know, but I was referring to if someone has a good PC, but that person does not like the ShadowMap, which can be disabled in the options menu in a Roblox game that has ShadowMap.

Shadows have automatic quality based on the graphics level of the client.
