Does anyone know how to enable this step by step?
Its the two settings below there, the first one introduces more skybox lighting into the world whereas the second one increases the Reflectivity of Smooth surfaces.
When PBR comes out, gonna have some fun with these settings… heheh.

Roblox is heading in a very positive direction. Even the most basic builds look absolutely STUNNING when the new lighting is enabled!

I love the second and third picture, though it makes me cry wondering how many people will actually sit there to admire the small details.

Any plans if we’ll ever be able to control the diffuse lighting color, or at least disable it difusing the color based on the skybox / clock time?
My game relies on a fake fog system to give immersion on its supposed geographical location, but the EnvironmentDiffuseScale always make it have the colors you’d expect reflected based on the time, ruinning the whole idea behind having fake fog.
I’d love to be able to keep the metallic shine PBR gives but with diffuse doing what it does right now it is not a possibility.
I wish I could use this since it makes metal look so much better, but sadly after messing with my skybox and lighting settings for about an hour, I can find no way to make this look good in my game. I really wish we didn’t have to change the skybox in order to change the color of the glow given to parts when this is on, it should really just be a new color slider option under lighting

I am very glad that these features have been introduced. They still have much room for improvement, but are very useful even in this early form.
With the new updates to lighting, I have been able to improve an old Thanos Infinity Gauntlet 3D model showcase of mine which I made in 2018. With the use of the improved metal material it now looks far closer to the thumbnail rendering I did for the place at the time.
