Another issue I’ve noticed, is there a limited amount of lights? I’ve been making the map for my game for a while and enabling FIB disables some of them.
EDIT: I put in a brick with another spotlight and it works, is there any kind of super awkward logic that nobody except interns can understand (with the same style as the physics lol)?

I am so late to the party on this, but it looks phenomenal.
I can’t quite get the right “Lightbeam through windows from a distance” effect, partially because of that weird 60s maximum everyone’s talking about, but as a wise man once said; “It eez what it eez”.
By the way, can we get different intensities of shadows based on transparency of objects? It’s kinda nitpicky but it sure would be nice.

I think it really made it easier for us to adapt and develop in different environment styles with such lighting technologies.
Hopefully, there is more to come.

The light from this small room bled through the 1.5 stud thick wall previously, now it doesn’t at all!

this only seemed to happen to me in the earlier studio betas, now it doesn’t seem to happen and for others it didn’t happen at all, i presume this is simply an optimization error as fib 3 has been worked on for a long time since 2015.
I look forward to this release, I’m happy to see the staff/engineers are on top of it looking through posts and making adjustments/changes when needed or discussing bugs. It should allow for a smooth and bug-free release for sure!

Does Future is bright (Phase 3) supports Volumetric lighting? I think I missed information about this. Anybody reply, if it does support or no?
It doesn’t. Sunrays, beams or custom scripts could do the trick instead.
