After the community rollout, we tried changing the permissions and using the new ones. However, the result was that, even though we had full editing permissions, we locked ourselves out of all places.
Currently, the situation is even more complicated: we now have an enormous group of people, and we’re no longer able to maintain control over any place, hope this get fixed ASAP.

The configuration of the role we tried to add (and the one I was added to) is shown in the attached video.
Currently, the Main Group Role (which is the role I belong to) does not have any of these permissions. (Legacy)
Thanks for sharing all this information. Are you able to have the community owner add you to another role within the community, which has the non-granular legacy permission enabled?
I Was Able to reproduce the issue in a my personal group, in our Main Place Team Create is turn off.
If you have team create turn off and you remove in the main group the ability to Create and Edit community experience you get locked out from your place. (Must have always a role added And the ability to edit with the new roles)
Got it! You’ll want to have team-create enabled. Once team create was enabled for the experience, group collaborators with edit permission will be able to join in studio.
I’m not sure if this is currently a major issue, but it might be worth considering adding a patch to prevent situations like mine, where I spent an entire day trying to understand why access wasn’t possible. Since group permissions are being deprecated, relying solely on the new roles without enabling team create will inevitably cause this issue.
It would be nice to have a more clear error message since “Error 409” is very vague of what went wrong. A error message with what went wrong or even instructions on how to fix would be very handy for developers who find themselves with it.
More of a quality of life suggestion that would be nice to have.
Hi I am also having similar issues to this person.
But I have multiple issues currently.
FIrst one is that when I open Studio, it’ll force me to sign back in. But even when I do, It freezes and gives me a strange error.
Second One is that when I open my game and manage to get past the first bug. It would kick me out and tell me to try and reconnect.
Third One is If I do load my game, It would work smoothly for a solid 3-5 minutes before suddenly freezing and completely bricking studio. Forcing me to use task manager.
