[GFX]: Feedback || Updated Version

Yeah, GFX packs are fine as long as it is uncopyrighted.
However, relying on GFX packs to make your art look good (using GFX packs as a crutch and not as a resource to enhance your work) is not a good idea.

Blender Tutorial - How to Create Dust Particles in Eevee - YouTube Here is how I learned how to do the dust effects
I used GFX packs on youtube for lighting and harder effects. I hope it is okay

Thank you for your feedback! Helped me learn alot!

Yeah, I meant the background was stolen (and the pictures of crows)
I would suggest using GFX packs as a way to enhance your work and not rely on it so much that it becomes the main attraction of your piece.

Ohhhhhh, I am very sorry. I will remove them and draw them myself. Thank you for your life saving feedback! Or else I might get copy right striked. :+1:

You probably won’t get copyright striked but it is not very ethical.

the golden foil dude is just looks weird.
then again, way too many overlays. it distracts you from what you are supposed to be focusing on.

can you close the 1st post of this or give link to this post here?

I don’t really understand why you’re so heated about this. He made a good GFX and you start calling him out for using backgrounds?

Impressive, but I agree with Pokemoncraft5920 that this render is noisy.

Using copyrighted images is not ethical if it is for advertising your game.

who really actually cares is the thing though

The artist you stole their work from cares.

I didn’t steal their work I just used a GFX pack for free from a tutorial

If you are saying that even a free GFX pack is not ethical then even a font isn’t, the artist published his work on the internet, he should have known the consequences, also this was most likely a practice work so I don’t see anything wrong here? Also, the artist will most likely not notice Roblox gfx using their work.

If a font is copyrighted, then yes, it is unethical to use!

The artist DOES know the consequences and that’s why it would be copyrighted.

Actually this GFX is being used to advertise a game. If this was a practice work I would be fine with it.

Adobe probably won’t notice you pirating photoshop. Does that mean you should do it? No!

Most fonts on the interent are not copyrighted.
He said he used it from a free GFX pack, even if some images are copyrighted, it wasn’t his fault and there’s nothing un-ethical about that.
I still do not see the problem though?

It is his fault if he chooses to advertise his game with copyrighted images.

That’s my point.

You took the first sentece out-of-context, I meant that he used a free GFX pack from youtube, there is also no watermark on any of the overlays so they are most likely royalty free.

This is getting off topic and I don’t want this to escalate into an argument. If you want to discuss this further DM me.

I quite like this! I get why people say the effects are a bit much but I feel it fits in with the scene as it is war, there is fire, smoke etc. one confused thing though.

Looks like there are fingerprints on the artwork? Would you mind explaining? Otherwise, it looks very nice.
