What is it?

In this game, the player acts as a character who with no previous memories, has found themself trapped within the depths of a tunnel, left abandoned below the surface. It is now the player’s choice to find their ways outside this gloomy nightmare, or forever lie aside the spirits that have been left for internal misery.

However, there may be a twist. Is there really an exit? Or is it all a distraction from what truly lies within the character’s thoughts.

  • Design:

    • Ending Screen: Stay Behind.
    • Ending Screen: Live to Tell the Tale.
    • Ending Screen: Pulled Back.
    • Fully design external landscape and environment; building, scripting, sound design, etc.
    • Continue to furthermore develop the interior design.
  • Bugs:

    • Player can climb on water.
    • Game takes excessive time to load.
    • LockFirstPersone mode not enabled.
    • Mouse does not change.
    • Ambiance and other sounds fail to play correctly.
    • Flashlight (light) is not disabled during ending 1 (death).
    • Player can move during ending 1 (death) via sprint system.

Update Log: (13/06/2020)

  • Vines and Spiderwebs were added to the walls of the tunnel and small room.
  • Cursor has been enabled and altered to a tiny square for max visualisation of the game without blockage.
  • Torch in small room is now interact-able and can be picked up.
  • Fog has been applied to contribute to the ambient horror feel of the game.
  • Torch can be turned on & off.
  • Minor/Major bug fixes.

Update Log: (14/06/2020)

  • A new title screen has been applied to the game.
  • Tunnel has been dimmed and a large number of lights have been removed.
  • Player can no longer sprint within 10 seconds of the title screen concluding.
  • Torch has been adjusted to furthermore fit the theme of the game.
  • Player’s character is now taller for a more realistic effect.
  • Minor/Major bug fixes.

Update Log: (25/06/2020)

  • All vines and spider webs have been adjusted and re-fitted.
  • Tunnel exit has been extended and now allows access to the outside.
  • Additional character response and sound effects have been added.
  • External environment has now been built and will continue to slowly expand outward.

Update Log: (04/07/2021)

  • Being the leading result of updates causing bugs within the games functionality and outdated use of mechanics, the game will be permanently closed, and used as a guide into making the sequel. Further updates of this sequel will be made public later down the line. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to interact with both myself and the development of this game. May we once again catch each other’s eye in the near future.
