:warning: Disclaimer: This plugin is not a repackaged version of UIGradients. Its primary purpose is to apply gradients across multiple selected parts, or use those values in scripts. I’ve included a quick UIGradient button for those who may find it useful. :slightly_smiling_face:

:paintbrush: About

Gradient Tools is a powerful yet easy-to-use plugin that allows you to generate beautiful gradients and apply them directly to your parts or use in scripts. There is also a button to apply your gradient to a UI element with a UIGradient, but that is not the main use of this plugin.

:sparkles: What makes this plugin special?

  • Multi-Color Gradients: Define multiple colors and specify the number of steps between them to create smooth, custom gradients

  • Flip Colors: Quickly reverse the order of your colors with the “Flip Colors” button to change the direction of your gradient

  • Flexible Color Formats: Choose between RGB (0-1), RGB (0-255), HSV (0-1), and HSV (0-255) to suit your project’s needs

  • Easy Color Input: Input colors manually or select them directly from existing parts in your workspace

  • Copy Color Values: Easily copy the RGB or HSV values of generated colors for use in your workspace, scripts or UI

  • Apply to Parts and UI: Directly apply the generated gradient colors to selected parts or create UIGradients on UI elements. Part gradients are applied in order of selection - so select the parts from left to right if you want your gradient to go that way!

:video_game: Example Use Case

Let’s say you are making an obby game with two areas, “Medium :yellow_square:” and “Hard :red_square:”! You can create a smooth transition between the two with only a few clicks.

For me, I don’t see this as a necessity since values can easily be added manually.

You cannot manually calculate a gradient though (without using an external website or typing some code into the command bar), which is the point of my plugin. Don’t see a reason to post such a useless reply.

This plugin is a quick alternative to going on some gradient generator website and calculating the colors that way… and it saves you time since you can easily apply it to parts or copy the value to use in a script.
