I think I found a bug.
You can’t change the capitalization of your group’s name.
Is this supposed to be intentional?

My current group name.

What I want to change it to but, it says that the name has been taken.

Would it be possible for the names of closed groups (0 members, manual approval) to also be recycled for future use or would that raise a number of alarms (e.g. impersonation, name collisions, whatever)?

Just this, it’s annoying to see all the closed group names unusable.

This is great. We’ve been waiting a long time to change our group’s name. We created another group to lock in our name so no one else could steal it and so that we can rename our main group to it when Roblox releases it. However, according to Roblox you can only reuse previous group names 90 days after it was changed. This means that we have to wait another 3 months just to change our group name. This is ridiculous considering that we’ve been waiting a long time for this feature.

I’ve seen few people talk how they don’t want to use their deadnames anymore and that would be helpful in few other cases.

By any chance could there be some sort of way to revert your group name before it’s time is up since waiting the 90 days gives someone a chance to steal the old group name before I have the chance to revert it.

This is great but I think it should not be 100 robux because I can just create a new group if I wanted new name. Maybe it should be 10 - 50 robux. I also think 90 days is a bit long so maybe it should be able to be changed every 30 days.

Before we go off renaming our groups and locking ourselves in for 90 days, I have a quick question. Will we be able to reuse names that are already being used by zero member, locked groups? There are some group names that I would like to use that are on zero member groups and before I come up with alternatives, I wanted to ask if there are plans to allow people to claim locked groups’ names. I wanted to ask first just in case I decided to come up with an alternative, get locked in for 90 days, only for locked group names to become open and losing the opportunity to claim it to someone else. In short, will there be any method to using group names that are already on zero member “Locked” groups?

The point of this feature is to not loose all your members in the group (that would happen if you created a new one), so 100 Robux is reasonable.

Searching will not support searching by previous names

Personally I would actually like to be able to do this (with-in the 90 days) since a group name I wanted to join might change, and I want to know if my new group name is available.
