Gui blur effect like Windows 11

Greetings! I want to make the blur and grainy effect on GUI object only, like on screenshot.

I love blurred UI’s i think their pretty awesome, and look really clean, Currently ROBLOX does not support UI blur, they have spoken about it in the past, but it is not something that they are currently focusing on.

There is a way to achieve the effect using DOF, and placing a brick with a glass material behind the frame, then updating it every in game frame, but its not a effect solution, and does not work on multiple layers of UI.

That’s a shame, it’s such a cool effect. Hopefully they change their minds eventually, or someone finds a more reliable solution.

This is something we’d really like to ship but it’s complex because UI is laid overtop of the game content which is changing at 60 FPS.
