Hello, to whoever is reading this!
I made this post to summarise everything i’ve worked on (and will work on) to turn it into a post at the end of the year, and add it in my future portfolio. Since we’re barely halfway through the first month (Jan 18, as of writing this) I only put January here. Anyway, with that out of the way, here’s my summary:
January
So, 2025 has officially started. I really wanted to come back to developing, so I started using this forum more and started doing some projects, such as making an admin panel that I could use for my future projects. I also wanted to make a group with @KevinImanoo, but that failed. I made a few other .rbxl files to try to improve my scripting. I have a plan, and i’m more than ready to execute it. I mean, we still have 11 months left of the year to go out and do something, so why not? I wanted to also get better at building and learn animating. It will be a wild ride.
On the 24th of January, to refine my scripting skills, I made a little 7-segment display thing that displays the time. That next day, I found a DevForum topic about capxpq (don’t want to ping them) wanting to make a working computer. That obviously interested me, so I starting talking over on Discоrd with them, and we made some pretty good progress. As of this time, we have barely just finished making the kernel, though.
Things i’ve worked on this month:
Admin panel thing: (don’t expect it to work, i’m still working on it.) Place2.rbxl (68.8 KB)
Collaboration with capxpq:
February
Not that much that’s notable, but I kept working with @capxpq to make a working computer. We have made some pretty huge progress, such as starting to make the UI, a graphics rendering engine, and the file system.
I found an AI tool that makes text into formal text, and I just thought it’s wayy too funny not to put it here:
Greetings, to anyone perusing this text! I crafted this chronicle to encapsulate every endeavor I’ve embarked upon (and will embark upon) to weave it into a grand tale by year’s end, enhancing my forthcoming portfolio. As we’re just skimming the surface of the initial moon’s phase (January 18, to be precise), I’ve confined my reflections to January for now. Nevertheless, here lies my brief account:
January
A brand new era of 2025 is upon us. My fervent desire to dive back into crafting led me to engage more in this community, embarking on adventures like constructing an admin panel for my future escapades. I also aspired to forge a collective with @KevinImanoo, yet that dream faded. I dabbled in several other .rbxl files, hoping to enhance my scripting skills. A master plan is forming, and I’m primed for its realization. After all, we have a bountiful 11 months left to seize opportunities—why not, I ask? I also yearn to refine my building talents and master the art of animation. An exhilarating journey awaits ahead. Projects I’ve toiled upon this month: Admin panel project: (don’t hold onto any expectations for its immediate functionality, it’s still a work in progress.) Place2.rbxl (68.8 KB)
