[HCC] Senior Cashier Assistance Manual

Honey Comb Cafe - Senior Cashier Assistance Manual

Congratulations on advancing to the senior cashier rank! Finally reaching this rank means that you have successfully fulfilled many expectations such as the recipes, and succeeding multiple training sessions. Now, with such a rank, you are also accommodated with more expectations in order to advance further. This assistance manual will inform you with tips and tricks on how to be the best senior cashier there is to offer at Honey Comb Cafe!

Positive Characteristics :white_check_mark:

Consistent Activity
A very high expectation given to senior cashiers at HCC is being constantly active. Although being active on our communications server is alright, we prefer more in-game activity. A great way to show your activity is to participate in training by spectating or attending shifts.

Improved Accuracies
A very interesting thing we would love to see in senior cashiers is learning from their mistakes. Mistakes should be taken as a good thing instead of embarrassing, everyone makes mistakes. If you are told you made an order wrong, we would love to see you improve and learn from that experience, there is always room for improvement.

Friendliness
An important characteristic we look for is friendliness! If honey is sweet, you should be too. By being friendly, people will develop respect for you. A quote reminder is to always “treat others the way you want to be treated”.

Standing Out
You may think being a senior cashier means that it’s time to take a break from your hard work, yet when you are willing to strive for more, standing out is a key trait. We are more likely to promote people who leave a unique impression on us. Standing out can mean whatever you want it to mean, be YOU!

Helping Out Others
Helping out other staff is a characteristic we would love our senior cashiers to have. Put yourselves in other people’s shoes, think how a helping hand in a tough situation would make their day. That’s a very important thing to remember when trying to be promoted.

Negative Characteristics :x:

Disrespect
Showing any form of disrespect outside of any inside-joke you and your buddy may have is a no-go. Some people may take a joke the wrong way and consider it to be hurtful, so we highly encourage getting to know the individual before making any insensitive comments or jokes. Showing signs of major disrespect in the communications servers or cafe COULD lead to a consequence if left unresolved.

Hinting
Hinting for promotion to any staff in any form of way will lead to a negative connotation on your possibility of being promoted. Begging is a negative thing, and hinting at any sort of promotion is similar to begging.

Favoritism
Although this rule is for all roles, senior cashiers are role models to cashiers. It’s best to start learning early than to learn late. This favoritism rule could be just as simple as treating someone better than another person, or even being “too nice” to administrators, this rule could also fall under hinting.

There are so many other characteristics a senior cashier like you could fulfill, as these are just some key traits you should abide by or follow to receive a promotion! Any more questions, concerns, or suggestions should be directed toward any member of Honey Comb Cafe’s staffing department. Our SHR team wishes you the best outcome during your journey in HCC, thank you and farewell!
