Alright, hi my name is undermaa, a builder that started building a few weeks ago and I need help on this. So it all started when i was trying to make ta4 (tusk act 4) on roblox studio. I started with the face, and I made it too big, i tried making it more thick, didn’t worked. Keep in mind i was using f3x to make the face thick and I used the normal reciser that roblox offered to make it smaller
have you tried putting it into a model and then scaling it?
Oh ok, sorry for posting this post here, I’m new here
Yeah, I tried, but it doesn’t seem to be working
well try making it into a union and scale it. Let me know if this helps!
I tried to union it but it fails
Go to the model tab on studio, and change your move size to a smaller number such as 0.1 instead of the default 1, then you should be able to shrink it.
This issue might be happening because one or more parts in your model simply can’t be tinier. In Roblox, parts can’t be sized smaller than 0.05, 0.05, 0.05.
I’d recommend you use a scaling plug-in from the library to resize your model. Alternatively, you can use SpecialMesh or BlockMesh objects and set their Scale
property to achieve the size you need.
Woah, that plug-in worked, thank you dude!
If possible, you should change the snap to grid function which can allow parts on ROBLOX to be scaled with no limits.
Here is how mine currently looks like:
I hope this will help!
It’s not on F3X by the way but it will allow the scale tool to scale on ROBLOX studio.
Use a plugin called Model Resize.
It allows you to basically half the part size by dragging it with arch handles behaving as a model.
If that helped you solve your issue, mark a solution so that people that have the same question will know there is already another thread that’ll help them solve their issue they’re experiencing: A different approach would be checking the size property and missing around with the value in each part.
Please search before attempting to create a similar topic, it’s a common question that’s been asked and brought up numerous of times. There’s a plugin you could try that was suggested above using the ‘scale tool’ will allow you to scale your model down or up.
