I’m trying to create a skinned mesh with 3 separate meshes, but when I import it into studio it merges all 3 plane meshes.
You can see that it looks perfectly fine in blender and the plane meshes are spaced out properly.
But when I import the FBX file, this happens:
Can anyone provide me with a solution to this? What am I doing wrong?
Here are my FBX export settings, please let me know if I’m doing anything wrong here.
You should probably forward this to the eggheads in Art Design Support next door.

switched, but do you have any kind of solution to my issue?
I do not. My blender knowledge is very limited.

hello, it’s me, the egghead next door,
From my experience, I don’t think you can have different separate meshes connected to the same bone(s)
(If you actually can please help me )
you would have to make the 3 planes into one mesh and then animate it I believe.

I’ve always been able to import separate meshes connected to the same bones and root part in the past, but I don’t know if there is something wrong with my mesh or rig. + I need the meshes to be separated in order to achieve a certain effect.
How-
do you think it has to do with the bone heriety? or the type of model you’re importing it as (make sure it’s custom)
