I need help with exporting objects from roblox studio into blender with texture
Basically when I am going into solid mode in Blender the texture shows, but when I am going into render or material it is just white, I am using PaintRigV3 version of Blender.
I have tried making it an FBX and adding the material manually, but it won’t work it stays white in rendering.
Any help would be appreciated, I am trying to make a GFX and need this person’s gear to have material and not just be white but it isn’t working. Thanks!
I just used the Search tool up top to search export to blender doesn’t copy texture and saw a few posts that have been done about this topic.

They are, exactly like that actually, the issue is that it’s a model, different parts and things, I don’t know how to use his workaround with multiple colors. The model I am trying to export has different colors in it, so I don’t think it’d work because it’s not a mesh part
I think I’ve identified the issue, roblox only exports the texture if its a mesh, not if its a part/union. Is there any way to get around this, like get a union to be exported with its color and texture, or maybe convert the union to a mesh but keep the color/texture? I have tried to change the union to mesh, and it works, but it doesn’t keep the material/texture.
I don’t think so.
You might just have to learn how to make the texture yourself.
I’ve heard terms like ‘baking’ textures into meshes, and I’ve seen comments about painting your Texture in Blender and just importing it back from there.
