I want to create a constraint that can rotate to a target angle. I am using a HingeConstraint with its ActuatorType set to servo. This is not stable. When the torque is high on the servo, it starts bouncing and overshoots the target angle. Lowering the torque fixes it, but it breaks the desired functionality for the constraint
In this mechanism the wheels are attached to motor blocks. The motors are also HingeConstraints with the ActuatorType set to Motor https://streamable.com/t11nin
The fix to this issue was discussed in this post, and is addressed with a new property called “responsiveness”. However, this is still in the testing stage but should be activated soon.
