[hitsquad] League of ROBLOX -- New UI

Might’ve seen this on the blog, but now it’s actually somewhat PRESENTABLE. You automatically spawn as the first character (who is almost done), Shedletsky. Shoutout to Shedletsky, yes, I picked you as my first character. I think you might appreciate the abilities. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anywho, here’s a link. Give me some thoughts on improving it.

My MOBA will be a hodgepodge of my favorites. It’ll use some schemes from Smite, LoL, and other ideas of my own.

“Impale” was misspelled
Needs to be a quicker way to suspend SFOTH
cooldowns seem long and quickly slowed the game down

edit: on the server reset the cooldowns didnt seem to be as much of an issue
make sure the uis scale somewhat

Make the characters move by mouse. It’s impossible to move using WASD while pressing abilities.

It’s quite nice, but…

Seems a bit odd that RavagingOwl isn’t in the description to recieve any credit other than his Twitch channel, where you have to actually do work to find his name that I passed over immediately.

Ravaging would like to be in the desc, and I think that’s only fair. :confused:

Nice! I was thinking about doing this a month or so ago, but my scripting isn’t exactly on-par for that kind of project (or so I tell myself, because I’m too lazy either way). It looks like it’s coming along quite nicely, and I would definitely play it once it’s finished.

I would, however, suggest you modify the lunge attack. At the moment it allows you to lunge through walls.

The game will always be WASD. Play Smite, and understand how it can work. Also try shift-lock mouse.
Lunge is supposed to be able to go through walls, but that sticky effect does need fixing.
I have now credited RavagingOwl.

On another note, I changed how minions work. They all now update on a central clock instead of each having an individual yield. The game runs MUCH smoother now.

Thjose minions as humanoids are quite damn laggy.

Game is pretty fun me and a friend went in and had armies right in front of the blue’s base a lot of bugs but nice game.

If you want to take a look at this old camera thingy I did, uncopylocked just for you. Maybe try to do something similar, isn’t something really hard but it would be a great implementation. If you want to take a look at the code, up to you.
