How can I curve a hypotenuse?

so you know the hypotenuse inside the pythagorean theorem (did i spell that right? idk english isn’t my first language)

as everyone (including me!) knows, it’s a straight (or diagonal…?) line that connects two sides of the triangle

but… how do i curve it?
like, instead of it just being a straight path from point A to point B, how can i make it curved? something that airplanes do, for example

rather than following a straight path, they curve it by following the curvature of the earth (i think that’s how it was done)

You mean, curve it in calculations?

no

(what do you mean by that??)

Oh, I wasn’t sure if you meant curving the values in some sort of math calculation.

What’s your use case, exactly?

none!
i’m just… asking for the sake of it

there infact is
