How can I improve my Build

How can I improve my build currently trying to become good at building

Maybe add more realism to the builds! Details and more! You can search up things on google and get inspired!

You can also design your own texture for the builds!

Greetings!

The colors are a bit bland, try changing the windows and room to another color (For example, lighter colors for more cartoony builds and a bit darker colors for more realistic builds).

Over all, the build looks great, keep up the good work!

Add more detail! I often get inspiration from looking at my surroundings and basing them off of that. It may be worth a try!

You could add a door nob and a chimney.

The colors are pretty sad :frowning:
But I really like the building It’s very nice maybe a cartoony aspect and chimney will make it epic

I may add a chimney to be honest where do you think the chimney should be?

You could create your own bricks wall, instead of using a pre-made roblox texture of brick, you can place parts which would be alligned so your wall would be a lot of bricks instead of an image of bricks. You can also do the same for the roof, but keeping in mind how a roof is made. You can also do your own house in blender if you’re trying to have a really realistic one. If you want to stay in roblox studio (not blender) you can use PBR materials (be sure you don’t steal someone’s else texture, because it’s illegal)

I’ve notice people put there textures free to take can I also use those textures?

Maybe right there in te red thing:

It should be a bit taller (the house)

Nevermind

If there’s no copyright, yes. However, be sure to inform yourself better on the subject to be a 100% sure before doing those type of things.
In my previous post, I didn’t showed any image of what I meant so here you go (old wall made my be)

Also, you should include shapes in your door, not only having a rectangle, since doors usually have squares, rectangles, or other types of forms in them.

Should I make physical brick blocks instead of having an image?

Yes, as I did in my image. However, this is all depending on the type of building you are trying to make: low poly, realistic, normal, etc. However, in my opinion, making physical brick blocks is WAY better than having the image, you really shouldn’t use the image, or only use it in rare situations.

I would say changing the roof color and it will make it look better, Along with somebody else’s post, I also agree the colors are bland.

Add more detail to things, such as frames for the windows and doors, and as someone previously suggested, chimneys.

Make it more realistic, it might just be the camera angle but the walls look extremely short, you could possibly add more texture to it looks a bit too plain for my liking. But it’s up to you!

Keep up the good work!

I would suggest using way different colors for the roof and the walls. And the colors are a bit bland. Other than that great job!!!

@Tality24 I recommend for you to elevate the roof a couple studs and change the color otherwise its amazing keep up the good work!

Maybe use different colours and not the same colours for both the walls and roof, I’d also suggest to make the walls taller because the roof is right down at the doorframe and windows, you could also be good with details such as a chimney and lights, also maybe use a different material for the roof instead of using two different bricks for both roof and walls.

image? I believe you mean material. I do agree with what you’re saying, in my opinion I hate using brick materials, I’d rather make actual physical bricks because it doesn’t look flat and roblox’s material positioning are usually off by alot in corners for example.

Also physical bricks adds more depth into the build and you have alot more freedom when it comes to physical bricks such as the gap between the bricks, saturation differences and size of the bricks.
