Hello, this is just a question I had in mind when looking at this guy’s account. I was recently scrolling through the forum when I ran into a guy with bad formats and vague topics. I looked at his summary and I saw this
Can anyone tell me if users can get in like this? (it says he’s a member of the forum, he also posted)
It is possible for users to enter the platform like this with the new system up, which most users that join today can just read posts, like many things, or just Copy and Paste topics to enter in easily.
EDIT: If he does have bad formats and vague topics, maybe flag it? This is my opinion and solution on what to do in these situations.
Roblox removed the application process to join the forum over a year ago. Now anyone can get in. You get ranked up based on activity, so essentially you can just spam and post random stuff and become a member. It’s a shame really.
True, but I got into the forum about a couple of weeks ago. I had to read 1.5k posts, 150 topics read, and 3 hours read time. I just feel like he hacked to get in…
Judging by the Joined date, it’s likely that this user got accepted under different criteria or through applications. The criteria hasn’t always been the same and changes over time, so it’s possible it was significantly easier at the time they got Member.

I think maybe cause the dude joined in 2018 lol. So he’s been here for 2 years and idk man I think like they the devforum felt bad and just gave him member.
Again, I do agree with @Noasterio. Someone probably should look more into this cause some people probably think it’s unfair and such.

It’s strange that this guy could have such low activity after being on the forum for over a year and a half, though. He seems kind of iffy to me.
It’s perfectly normal for those accepted through applications especially. Many of them got accepted into the forums after immediately applying and never really used the forum afterwards.
I mean, true…but he could not be active. I mean, like I said, back in the old forum days, people would get accepted by application, this guy was very vague with his topic though.
I’m not trying to jump to conclusions here, but he really does seem strange. I joined only a day ago, and look at the high numbers on my summary. Like I said before, though, you do prove a good point.
True, I do agree, I think the people that aren’t active on the forum should get demoted but, it all comes down to what Roblox decides. again, this is my opinion

I know that, but it’s been a year and a half. I believe I’m causing a disturbance in this topic, so I will refrain from posting for a while.
It’s not even difficult of becoming member of dev forum. One has to least read 1.5k posts, 150 topics viewed and at least visit 7 day. Why am I saying this, is because I literally took this much time to hop in as a member.
