Hello, I currently use blender and Den_s’ Blender rig animation/exporter/importer plugin to create my animations. My question to anybody who has made custom rigs on blender and imported them to roblox, how did you do it? I don’t have much experience in blender itself, other than animating and creating bones/IKs, so any help would be appreciated. (I use a custom r6 rig to animate, however I don’t know how I could go about animating monsters or weapons, etc.)
Example: A creature that has been rigged using welds on roblox, having custom limbs. What should I change or add to make the rig importable into blender and how would I animate that rig and make it successfully export to roblox?
I believe a Blender animation tutorial is what you need.
(apologies if it isn’t a very good tutorial, I didn’t fully go through it but it looks ok)
I’m not sure there’s a built-in method for this, Roblox Studio, from what I know, can only export the .obj model format which doesn’t have any rigging data. Maybe that plugin you were already using can help with exporting it into Blender with all the bones.
