How do i turn of shadows for terrain so caves are bright

I’m am attempting to turn off shadows on terrain.
the issue is I cant find any option to do it
the solutions I have tried is look on the dev form and turn off global shadows in lighting but I want some objects to have shadows so that wont work.

any help would be appreciated.

You’ll find the answer to your question on this topic:

It doesn’t look like there is a way to do so since this feature in Studio is not toggleable. Unfortunately, the only viable option would be to adjust your Lighting settings to achieve the effect you want.

The solution in the topic I linked mentions a very useful workaround you could look into implementing.

so there is no way just to simply turn them off?

After reading the replies to that topic, there doesn’t seem to be.

If there was a way to do this, there would be a toggleable option under the properties of Terrain to do so, but no such property exists:

You could set ambient to be bright. Lighting.Ambient is the colour of lighting inside something, like a cave or a building. Increasing Lighting.Ambient will make the inside of a building or cave brighter.
