First i want achieve wrapping surfacegui on round meshes
Second it does not wrap around the mesh/union
Third i tried using selectionimage as somehow i thought it was supposed to make the surfacegui have the same wrapping and size as the decal.
I really want this to wrap around my mesh car.
as you can see i can’t wrap the surfacegui’s reflectance on my car mesh, because
its not wrap-supported.
Help would be a life-saver.

You can use Textures or decals to make images that wrap around meshes, as there is currently no way to do this for surface guis.
but its a surfacegui, decals cannot be viewportframes

Ooof. I just tried to do the same thing. Guess it’s not possible then… Maybe in the future who knows.
Jokes on you all, theres a module for this made by @TheNexusAvenger .

The main difference between last time and this time is the performance. Adding and removing instances on the fly wasn’t good, and adding new surfaces didn’t exist. All of these have been addressed. Also, they don’t have to be the same size, and can work in any position. No, rotation st…
This is completely not what the feature request was, and this feature has been requested for over a decade and I doubt it will ever be added even though it’s needed
