Looks really funny, but the character got kinda broken at the end  Like, the body is detached from the legs (understandable when he holds such a huge gun :joy:)

Love the animation, only one small thing, it changes from small to big in one frame, you could use the Bounce Tween during the animation to give it some effect like this:

smol gun → big big gun → big gun.

in one frame

Not bad but I am not a fan of how it looks at the end as that’s just… weird.

should’ve shown the gun in mid air

does this pose look any better?

Tweening models isn’t as easy as you think, especially with animation. It would have to be scripted because roblox doesn’t support size manipulation in animation.

main reason why i didn’t want to tween it, was because i wanted to add more emphasis on the gun immediately getting big, rather than not subtle

Yeah, I don’t mind it getting big that fast. My only problem is how snappy the animation is. Usually you want the character to be in a constant flow of motion.

which parts of the animation that appear snappy to you?
is it the when the gun drops?
is it the part that the gun falls forwards a bit?

if so, then i think you should reconsider your comment.
if i made the animation linearly,

not only there would no exaggeration between each keyframes
but the animation in itself would look bland.

you should also factor in some other factors, the shear weight of the gun would affect the player thats trynna lift the gun.

and when the gun falls forwards, the player has to act urgent before the gun falls to the ground

so please explain in detail and point out which parts of the animation i need to fix, else im leaving it like it is

I like the animation just the only issue is where the gun grows and the Robloxian (You or anyone with the gun in general) picks it up.

Thanks to you showing the gun in the sky, I notice how the gun just instantly turns big. Afterwards, it follows a brief delay before almost instantly dropping down. Afterwards, the player tries to pick up the gun although it feels unrealistic as it’s snappy.

I don’t got anything good to say to improve your animation as I’m not an animator. Although, I did saw that you want the gun to have more empathy (Or in other words, want the gun to instantly grow big in a snap of a finger). I guess you can add in a smoke explosion when the gun is about to be big via an event inside of your animation and use :GetMarkerReachedService() to fire the smoke explosion.

So TL:DR:
I like the animation, especially how the gun just turned big (Which in all honesty that caught me offguard) just the only issue is the animation simply feels snappy.

When they reach up to catch it, when they catch it, and when they lift it back up. It’s fine when they pull it off their waste, but the rest of it isn’t great.

i’m having troubles seeing what you’re seeing?
to me the animation looks great

are you talking about this?

and this?

what do you mean the rest isn’t great? like you talking about the beginning and so on? or something else in mind?

also im curious, how would you fix the animation, if you were the one animating it?

Yeah, those are good examples. I was bored so I’m working on re-animating it and I’ll show you it when I’m done.

No… sadly. I would say to move the arms a bit more up the torso.

I’m no animator but I did this much‏‏‎ ‎:P (I made this really quickly and it could be improved a lot)

[EDIT]
Yeah ik it sucks but my point is that the limbs should be constantly moving

I do appreciate your effort, the animation feels off in a way, the gun doesn’t feel like it has that much weight to it, other than that I do actually like the bounce that you’ve got in the animation
I might try to incorporate some of it into the animation

thank you for trying to animate it

Yeah, I very much rushed it. (And again, I’m not an animator)
