Hi!
I use pumpkins many times when I want to build something that has to do with autumn or with Halloween. I usually use the Sinister P mesh, but I really want to make my very own pumpkin. I want it to look realistic but at the same time fit into the Roblox style. How should I get started with a regular pumpkin aswell as a jack o’ lantern? 
You should probably mesh it using blender.
This is a great series for blender beginners and it goes through all the basics you will need to make a pumpkin.

Here’s a pumpkin modeling tutorial I found in Community tutorials. You might need to practice blender a bit to understand this though
