How to make 1.0 layered jackets

I am looking for a tutorial on how to make and upload a 1.0 blocky layered clothing.
Example: Squid Game - Roblox
I am a novice in Blender but I already uploaded +/- 20 UGC and I know how to make holdable UGC using layered clothing. but as of now I have only used the cages ROBLOX provides (which are not for blocky avatars). I would like to make some blocky things too and I already downloaded the blocky rig + cage from ROBLOX. but I don’t see any information if these need to be weight painted, or any information on roblox itself about uploading blokcy layered clothing. So I want more information on the how to upload/rules than how to actually make it.

I think you make blocky layered clothing just like other layered clothing. since you can put blocky layered clothing on non blocky characters, Im assuming it has to be wight-paited and given the proper cages and such just like any other layered clothing.
(Ive never tryed, im just guessing)

For regular layered clothing, there is a clear single-mesh body, and 2 single mesh cages. However, for the blocky template (which doesn’t specify that it’s made for blocky layered clothing) there is just one avatar consisting of 15 meshparts and each meshpart has it’s cage. I’ve downloaded a blocky layered clothing to see if I can reverse-engineer it so I can also start making my own. But as of now I don’t understand it quite well.

M are you comparting the template for layered clothing (only one object, thus only requires one inner cage and one outer cage) with the Blocky body template (r15, thus has 15 parts and an outer cage for each part, but no inner cage (nothing is going inside of it, you dont “wear” the rig like you do clothing))

In any case… maybe these will help?

(the blocky template (the blue guy) was made for the face animations tutorial and I think the rigging tutorial and such)
