How to ragdoll a skinned mesh

hi, I would like my skinned mesh to be able to ragdoll. I’m not sure if this can be achieved via script or manually, but I would prefer not to cut the mesh into separate limbs so as not to make it sharp between the flaps, thanks!

As far as I’m aware it’s currently not possible to ragdoll a single mesh. It’s super annoying and a request to implement a build-in feature was made back in 2022.
We’ll just have to wait, I’ve just bumped this to hopefully give it some more recognition. Like it and perhaps bump it in a few weeks.

i’ve seen that post but i just can’t follow the instructions because i don’t fully understand. i’d need a video

It’s not really instructions, it’s a feature request for the engine. As mentioned, it’s currently not possible to ragdoll a single rigged meshpart and you’ll need to either use the work-around by cutting it into an R15 rig or wait for the feature to (hopefully) be announced.
