I can never get hard shadows, its always kinda soft and shadowsoftness does NOTHING at all, even on future, shadowmap it does nothing not even a single change, its like the softest shadow ever and this has happened on every game for years, why? I want like hard black shadows but idk if its possible
You should probably increase your graphics quality level in the settings. Sadly this is the only way, because Roblox doesn’t give us good options to customize it ourselves.

not any of those and ive tried literally everything, also shadowsoftness does nothing at all not even a single difference

I found the solution by typing this into my search engine:
hard shadows site:devforum.roblox.com
using site:[url] will automatically filter that site so you only see that.
So any other problems in the future search the solution through this.

are you sure you have to go on lighting then go to [shadow softness] and lower it down to make it hard shadows if not then go on graphical setting in the studio setting.
