Before I attempt to reinstall blender entirely, I first would like to ask the DevForum community if they know any solution to a problem I could not resolve. I would rather render my textures in material preview (or shading) but this happens!
I go to the material preview, click it, lag for a few seconds, and get a rendered mesh with randomly colored pixels outlining the seams.
I have tried changing the engine and Workbench does not have material preview.
This occurred to me at complete random after I figured out how to use UV textures the way I wanted them.
The pixels appear in both material preview and shading (the option to the right of material preview).
I have managed to identify and find a workaround or two for this, but ultimately the reason why this occurred was because my graphics driver is too inadequate.
But why did this occur out of random the time it did? That’s for another brain to solve.
So, I’m either gonna have to live with (or around) the pixels or get new hardware. It’s a shame, too, that it’s around this time I’m keen on learning what is needed to create the products I desire.
That was it. That was literally it. The pixels have disappeared! I don’t even recall how exactly I found this bit of information last night, but I sure was mistaken when I thought that it was my system and not the program.
For any of those who encounter this issue and think it’s a hardware problem, think twice! This problem occurred to me while I was in Blender, and I had the indication that it was the program’s fault until I started reading forums. How mistaken I was!
