I will get straight to the point, I got banned for 3 days because of some random prick that not only abused the new in-game reporting system, but also used exploits with his buddy while claiming to be an admin to get money in the game (It would be admin abuse and since he had like 659k I imagine he exploited more than once which he would already have his “admin” taken away). I was playing Jailbreak with my friends, we joined the smallest server possible just so we could grind as there was nobody playing as a cop in the server and I joked and talked with my friends, the usual, but then some prick called “enes1017” reported me for “bullying”, this is the ban message
The messages were said to my friends as a joke, especially the one in the bottom and the “fattie” one. The reason as to why I said fattie is because when me and my friends were trying to escape the prison via the sewers, one of my friends had a big avatar that blocked the way so I said that. For the “hey my mommies” one I just tried to be funny the hardest that I could, and while I agree that it’s quite edgy it was not harassment or anything like that. Later on after getting banned the guy started laughing at it. Here are the screenshots (ProfessorMagma and PerplexCircularTorn are my friends while the harley quinn person is a complete random)

And before anybody says to try and appeal it, I’ve already did so. The person reported me twice so I have made 4 appeals in total, which not even a single one of them got accepted. All 4 have been rejected and I cannot make even a single one more.
This of course wouldn’t happen to youtubers or popular developers as Roblox has a very big bias towards them because they bring them money via their starcode and games.

ok. roblox really doesnt care about the context. from what youve said, you’re mostly in the wrong since you spammed roblox support with 4 appeals. theres nothing you can do than wait a few days
from what I usually see, Roblox does care about the context. While I kind of understand as to why I could have gotten banned for saying it, it was not targetted to anybody in a mean way. it was a joke that isn’t as deep as the guy who reported me made it to be
5/5. 5 reasons are correct and 5 aren’t. Calling someone fattie can be considered as harassment. Using… “hey my mommies” is pretty offensive. “yes I grinded that game with drake”, specifically drake. “get david” could be interpreted in a bit harassing way but I assume you didn’t mean it in that way.
So stop crying, it’s just a 3 day ban. Do something else till then.

it’s a three way strike system. he’s on his last one.

even though it is fair, i absolutely agree this system is the most stupid stuff ever.
you can get termed by just uploading many faulty audios.
If imma be honest, the ban note provided seems to valid and not all offensive items are considered the ban reason like shown already by other people:
Words such as “fattie” can be considered as harassment
The reason you got a 3 day ban is mostlikely because you prior got a 1 day harassment ban before
I also wanna note that after a 7 day ban of bullying and harassment is a termination so be careful since you will mostlikely not be able to appeal bans like those
I’m pretty sure thats not how roblox punishments work but work rather the reason and the previous bans/warns on record
Like on Cheat and exploits would be:
1 day ban > 3 day ban > 7 day ban > termination
And it seems like the same for harassment since the screenshot also says that after the 3 day ban is a 7 day ban
If you would get banned for misusing roblox systems then you probably wouldn’t get a 7 day ban but rather a warn/ban (idk what their punishment system is) since its a different reason
Stuff like child endangerment would be always a termination
Spam would probably only be a warning for the first 2 times
That’s pretty much why i stopped talking in games chat since 2021, a lot of people are toxic and abuse the report system to make you banned, it isn’t something new. Also because of moderation bot that randomly scan the chat and ban you for saying any kind of number, day name, game name, player name or brand name.
My brother got banned a few days ago for the exact same reason. Someone encouraged him to say ‘fattie’ in the chat, and he did. A few seconds later, he was kicked and greeted with a ban message. (This was appealed successfully though)
The words ‘fat’, ‘fattie’, ‘fatty’, ‘femboy’, ‘furry’, ‘gay’ are all triggered, meaning they’ll get you banned when written in the chat, no matter what the context is.
You haven’t gotten banned for everything you said in the chat. When Roblox categorizes one of your messages as ‘inappropriate’, all of the other messages get categorized under the same reason.
Why not just… filter them? They don’t get you banned, I’ve said a few of these recently.
Getting banned for saying furry would be stupid.
Same with fat legs, although I did get banned for this once, it was a false moderation and got appealed.
These are both styles, so why would they ban you for saying that?

If you were banned due to saying ‘fattie’, this should unban you. If it didn’t, then you got banned for saying something else.
I believe this was because you said the word “fattie”, which has “fat” in it. I have said that once, and that was the only thing I said on an alt, and I had my friends report that alt, and it got a warning/ban for saying “fat”. So just try to avoid using the word “fattie”. I’m not sure why everything else is listed as Harassment.
There’s genuinely no point in banning them if you aren’t allowed to say them. Roblox simply allows you to say these, but does not take into account the context and always assumes harrassment.
There are words you can say that instantly bans you regardless of if reported or not. You can also get banned for messages that tagged out, for whatever reason.
It makes zero sense to get banned for words that are not bypasses, Roblox knows about and purposefully does not filter. They can just filter it and prevent people from getting banned for modern (and common) internet dialects for Roblox’s age range.
