I have 200k $R ready to go for ads - any ad campaign tips?

I have 200,000 ready to go for ads for my new game - any ad campaign tips? Should I spend like $20k every day for a week or so? More at once? Bellow I have a link to the current ads I have. Which ones do you like, which should I change?

no offence, but that ad isn’t the best. I recommend making a better ad.

That link is a gallery. I tried a lot of different styles. Which ads do you like, which do you dislike?

oh well, imo i dont really like them. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad. They’re decent, just an ad that I personally wont click on.

I’ve found sponsors to be more effective than ads. You also need a eye catching game icon if you’re going to do sponsors.

That’s really good actually.

Understandable. What type of ads do you like? Do you have something you can link to me that I can use as inspiration?

I really dont click on ads, I click on random ads basically. Sorry can’t help

icon.pdn (590.0 KB)
this is the icon right now. How much do you recommend spending on sponsors?

Hi so basically you need to benchmark a little bit to See your concurrent before anything else. If you don’t have any big concurent, 5k per day is good to keep player coming, for exemple when i click on an ad and I see no player on it i say on myself thatd be bad if no one play it. If you have concurrent do massive ads so people come and you get known faster (because if there are concurrent you need to steal their members x) but yeah if you choose this option go ahead with 10k per day on weekday and 25k per day on weekend and this for 2 weeks.

That’s obviously what i learned on marketing courses, hope it help you ! (If it the case don’t hesitate to tell it to me) also if you could send me game link on discord it’d be great (The_JamyDev#5693)

Also what is the game type to know if the images it’s good or no for it.

Its a new type of fighting game. I sent you an FR on discord!

Alright. Ima give you a secret.
First, look at this image:

Now you’re gonna ask how to get that CTR.
It’s pretty simple. Just write "Tired of "+ whatever trend is going on right now.
In my case I did, “Tired of Simulators?”.

Hope this helps a bit.
Btw, made this image for the ad in 2 minutes.

I think better CTRs are possible. I have ads with ~2% CTR

for 100, robux?
I got 40 clicks.

Never use impressions for CTR.
Use robux.

40/100 = 40% ctr

I think that you shouldn’t ask people what they like, dev forum members are most likely not your target audience. What you should do is run a small run of each of your ads (maybe 200-100) the higher the figure the higher the accuracy, and get the ctr results from those runs, then just spend on the ones that perform the best.

please use an ad that represents your game and if you’re willing to spend that much then make sure your game is fun and something people would come back to unlike an obby and also profitable.

That kinda works but is kinda clickbait because of you giving absolutely no context on the advertisement, people will hate it if you do that. I’d recommend making a gfx for the game advertisement with cool effects.

click per robux and click through rates are different. Also I don’t think 100rs is a good sample size

That’s actually a great idea @ItsMeKlc i mean before sending huge ads, make small one to see what people likes and work more

I had 1130 robux, was making a game challenge of 5 hours.
Didn’t think it was worth it to spend it all on a 5 hour game.
