Hello, I am a good builder however I am looking to expand my knowledge of development and learn more about 3D Modelling. I’d like to know any good tutorials, tips, keyboard shortcuts and the software you use as well as any other information that would be helpful. I find that Blender Guru explains it in a slightly complicated way ( personal opinion as well as it being rather long )
I made a post asking people on what 3D Modeling Software I should use, you can view that post here.
I hope it helps on getting you started!
My friend, @Pyrotenics made a Blender low-poly tutorial.

If you’d like, you can DM me for Blender shortcuts, just beware that I’m a 2.7 user.
I would suggest you to start practicing with hard surfaces modeling, which will help you with guns, cars, and many other things. This is a good tutorial to start with Maya https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WZ8zfKOTr0, this one should be great for Blender https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTSFcsdMSk4 .
I then suggest you to learn UV unwrapping and learning how to make textures on softwares like Substance Painter. Sculpting it’s great too and the best software for it it’s of course Zbrush, however meshes with more than 10k polygons can’t be imported into roblox and decimating them will make em look low poly. Before starting to importing meshes into roblox studio I would suggest you to take 3 months to learn how to make detailed models so when you’ll start using meshes in Roblox Studio you will already have great models ( this is just an optional idea ). Anyways you should tell us which software you was looking to use. I started with blender and then changed with Maya ( Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDG_Je8Aga0) and I’m finding myself really good with it, it’s easier than blender and it has very useful options, you can get it for free through Autodesk education on a 3 year student license. Blender however it’s great too and I really enjoyed using it I would suggest you that too. You can find great tutorials for both on Youtube and start modeling your own things. Anyways good luck with your 3D modeling future!
