I need an advice for my map

Hey developers! I’m here just to ask for a quick advice about my map. I’ve worked for a very long time on this RP game, where players have the possibility to choose different jobs, go around the map etc.

The map and some scripting has been entirely made by myself, but I’ve hired some people to make me stuff I couldn’t do. Now my idea was to make a successful RP game, with this italian city on a sea side, but I’m slowly realizing that I don’t think I got time and the experience/capabilities to do so.
Can someone give me an advice on what I should do?

I was thinking of selling it to someone, so sell the map with all the custom models/cars, scripting, group and everything related to the game. Do you think it is a good idea to do so? If yes, what should be the pricing?
Or do you think I should just keep everything, and try to make the game maybe in the future…?
I like the idea of selling the map, at least I could earn something from it, but at the same time I don’t like the fact of just selling it to someone, after many hours of work I spent on it. Maybe if I could sell it for a high price, I think I wouldn’t regret it lol.

Tbh I don’t know what I should do, just give me some suggestions!

You have the capability, and experience comes with time. If your options are between continuing to work on it and attempting to sell it without a buyer lined up, just keep working on it. If you want to work on it, make time. If you don’t want to sell it, don’t sell it. Only you have the vision for something you’ve created, anybody else would just ruin it.

• How many scripts/vehicles are there? (not asking script code, asking script purpose)

• I feel the second screenshot is too empty. What if you add something to the sea so it isn’t boring to see?

I agree with the second picture. It needs more than just the mountains and the trees in the background. It looks like there’s a lot going on there. There’s a good texture. Try and carry that thought over to the yard.
