I spawn as R15 even tho my game is R6?

not to be that guy, but thats not really a viable solution, if you’re implying to keep tc off at least, 1) the main reason, no team create 2) no autosave

Yeah unfortunately it’s what I’m implying. I completely understand that it’s unviable and I’m sorry but I’m just expanding off of what other people have said. I don’t think there really is a solution as this was backlogged by Roblox and we haven’t heard anything since

For me, it has gotten so bad now that EVERY time I join I am r15 even though my game is set to R6, no startercharacter, just a baseplate. I have to reset in order to be R6. I hope roblox fixes it soon

question; does this affect production servers? or just studio

How do you turn team create off tho? (i’m kinda new sorry)

Sorry for the late response I’m not really a frequent flyer when it comes to the devforums
In the view tab there should be a team create button which will open a menu that has three dots, so click on the three dots and press disable team create

The fix to this is simple. Publish your game or save it and close the project and Re-Open it. thats what ive been doing to fix the issue and it works all the time!

It only affects studio servers and not production servers, from my experience.

For me it only affects studio too.

To my knowledge it only affects the first time a new player spawns, after that it fixes itself.

For me its the opposite. (For some reason!?) When it’s the first time a new player spawns, it works as fine. But after that, it doesn’t!?

Let me quickly wrap this up

  • You sometimes spawn in r15 if you have an r6 game setting or vice versa, this mostly happens if you’ve updated the setting recently

  • This will never happen in-game it’s just a studio bug, so you’ll only find it in studio

  • If you encounter this, simply stop testing the game and try again. still doesn’t work? change the setting then change it back.

Yep, either that or repeatedly change the Humanoid RigType until the RigType is in your favor.

I had this issue, but after I published my game with R6 and messed around with it on live servers, I came back to find it fixed, no team create involved.

Potential fix could just be publishing it with R6 and then restarting studio, but there seems to be little rhyme or reason to it from what I experienced

I get this problem too It’s just an error in Roblox Studio it’s not your game.
