I love the way cel-shaded games look. Yesterday I started to tinker around to get the same effect in-studio and here we are today, I finally managed to get it working a 100% in-studio. I just want to spread my happiness , and want some feedbacks onto what can be done or added to make the effect more immersive (I will post a outlined pic soon) (Models are not mine). Thanks In Advance!
Finally, a cel-shaded scene without those dumb outlines. This could generate a load of game ideas.
i made my own cel shading by making fogstart and fogend value the same and turning up fogcolor value above color3 clamp, I wonder how u did yours
Woah. Amazing for a visual effect! I wonder how you did this?
As @iam13robloxexactly said about, I did the same but also tweeted some other lighting values to achieve the effect.
when I tried that technique it didn’t work on all devices
same, for my pc it looks great but for my other pc it looks white everywhere
how did you achieve this exactly?
Well, you guys are right, it doesn’t work everywhere, rip
I set both the FogStart and FogEnd to 100,000 and the FogColor to 100million, 100million, 100million but I get this.
I got these values from some other article but it follows your steps. I’m even on a laptop and changing the graphics settings doesn’t work.
ok but can you tell us how to repro?
WOW looks really good like stunning really stunning, the house just looks off it is way to bright for me doesn’t match with the dark color scheme of night or like the windows could be made brighter and the light from that rings around the house from those areas getting darker as it goes further.
Thanks for the reply , But sadly we can’t use it in-game as it only works in-studio only at night time.
