If beta is for everyone, why is there still the beta program thread?

There was an announcement not too long ago stating that you no longer need to sign up for the beta program and just enable it. Well if that’s the case what’s the point if this thread anymore?

Only Studio beta features are for everyone. Features listed on that thread are still exclusive to the program.
