ImageLabels in SurfaceGuis being down-scaled and looking blurry

Reproduction Steps
Our game uses SurfaceGuis and ImageLabels to show UI elements.
In a recent change (last 2 days), ImageLabels on SurfaceGuis are being down-scaled and become very blurry.

Visible in game: RoBeats! 🎧 Music + Rhythm + RPG - Roblox
Issue visible on iOS app (iPhone XS Max), 3:54pm EST 2/15/2022. Have not tested other platforms.

Steps:

  • Enter the game.
  • Press the “Valentine’s Day” event button in the in-game hud.
  • Several 2d image assets are down-scaled and very blurry.

Expected Behavior
Expected to have imagelabels on surfaceguis at full resolution:

Actual Behavior
Currently shows low-resolution imagelabels on surfaceguis:

Workaround
No known workaround for this issue, but only happens when loaded into the lobby (and multiple surfaceguis visible).
Have not tested if this is device or platform specific.
Changing Settings → Graphics Quality on the ios client does not fix this issue.

try using this: Pixelfix: Remove the black edges on scaled images - it really helped me with the blurriness of my UIS on any client.

Unfortunately this is a recent (flag enabled in the last 2 days or so) issue that only affects Imagelabels on SurfaceGuis - so likely not relevant.
