Images on UI have higher quality in studio than in-game

Hey! I’ve already posted this issue Im having in #platform-feedback:engine-bugs but figured a #help-and-feedback:art-design-support may actually bring about a solution.

Additionally, quality is perfectly fine on surface GUI’s, it only lack for the ScreenGui’s

The only reason that I can think of that would make the quality degrade is scaling. Obviously, if you down or upscale an image it is very likely to change its quality. Try and make the screengui image roughly the same size of the images in the screen gui or experiment with the sizes and seen how big/small you need to make it to match the size of the original image.

I have a method that perfectly replicates UI from the same image size to In game UI size, even if its scaled down or up, the same issues arise.

Maybe try changing the scale of when you export the image from the editor?
and damn, nice ui’s

Thanks  Yeah Ive tried many sizes already

The picture you took of the one in roblox is much bigger than the one you took in the studio, tbh I don’t see that much if a difference in quality and when scaling a part of the gui you took in roblox down to the size of the one in the studio, they look identical : >

That’s not the problem, both are almost identical in size, I think roblox just has a bad system in roblox for image compression or their image displaying/resizing algorithm is worse in roblox than studio.
