Hell yea! Thanks for tell us!
Why do we have to upload the sounds to roblox ourselves? I’m broke but I want my sounds in the Fashion Show.
uhhhh hey I have an question
What are the best audio making apps for this final challenge
If you can import/export a midi and have a wide range of tools to help you, anything works. I plan on using jummbox and maybe LMMS or Garage Band
You only have to upload to get in the fashion show experience, if you’re between the limits on how long the song is, it should cost 70 Robux. Audio has always costed money on Roblox and sadly there is no other way to play audio in-game.
by the way the guidelines state what type of song they want or should I say sfx
Oh my bad you can use that app it says on the guideline that “you can create your songs in any tool of your choice.”
although any tool of your choice just might mean a standard sound design software
But why can’t they upload it if I win? That’s my question.
WTH THIS ISNT SOUND DESIGN
why is it a composer contest when you announced it as sound design
I do sound design and i have been hyped since the beginning of the contest to make some sound effects…
Label stuff correctly in the future so you dont hype up devs for nothing
Are we allowed to submit multiple entries to the sound design challenge?
Sound design is technically a large encompassing field for both sound effects, composing and more.
Yes-ish
In the past roblox has called it composing
The roblox community calls it composing
The world generally calls it composing
Plus I had one of my most liked comments of me talking about my hype for a contest for sound effect designers on this post early on
I just don’t like that they changed how they called composers and I have been looking forward to this for a long while
What softwares can we use for making the music?
Any software as long as you are the one making the music (you can’t use any music software that copies other’s songs, etc.)
I have contacted an admin and as long as you are editing the notes and instruments, you are allowed to use Strofe.
Is this Aloha Oe? I believe it should be different from the original, because if it is too similar I think it will be invalid
Since the rules allow the video recording of the full creative process to be sped up, am I right in assuming that the audio of the creative process is not required to be included? For example: trial and error, the addition of each element of the music, etc.
You should probably include the audio since I’d assume they would be using the playbackSpeed on YouTube to make sure you are actually making that music.
If one of my sounds loses the competition will both lose?
