Why does roblox use an external api anyway, can’t they just root the code or make their own?

I can confirm. I’ve tried many times to log into studio but I cannot. I always run out of time, despite going extremely fast.

Update: I no longer get group captchas nor have to do any while logging in. I don’t know if Roblox has stored a cookie on my browser which tells the website to ignore captchas or if my account age makes it bypass, but something is going on. This account [2013] and my evergreen2y[2012] account both do not get log in captchas nor group joining/wall posting captchas.

I don’t think it’s an account age thing. My account is from 2010 and I still get captchas here and there and some of them are just broken so I can’t log in so I usually close my browser and re-open the website to see if I can get an actual captcha that works. It’s annoying not gonna lie, especially when you have to do a captcha 10 times in a row.

I’ve noticed that the captchas have gotten EVEN HARDER lately, for everyone. Mutual friends struggle to log into their accounts at this point, its kind of insane. I struggle to log in. Especially when there are bugs and the “correct” rotation is actually one of several apparently correct ones based on lighting so you have to try 30 times to find the “right correct one”

It keeps on saying, “Yikes! Not quite fast enough. Try to answer before too much time runs out!” even though, I am doing it in less than 30 seconds.

Why doesn’t roblox make their own captchas instead of suckling of of Arkose’s buggy product? Or at least, buy Google’s captcha that I have NEVER experienced glitching.

Problem: Roblox didn’t make the broken captcha, so there isn’t much they can do to fix the captcha. Souloution: Have Roblox make their own captcha.

This whole situation makes me really scared to log out of Roblox…
I just got done with a system wipe and I have to log in to my alt accounts to save their passwords and now the captcha breaks. Nice.

This is (and has been) happening to me too, so I can vouch for this. The way I was able to solve it was restarting my browser and getting lucky that I got another captcha
Tried to trigger this with and without a vpn on and couldn’t get any results, so it looks to just be random instead of a “last ditch effort” so to speak

I cant create an alt. I first got the dice captcha and while I was doing the captcha it switched to this ring of images where you need to select the right one. After I did it, it just says that I can now continue but it does not create an alt, if i close this window and click register again it just shows me the finish screen again.
why cant they just fix it

I’m out… The captcha drives me CRAZY! I’ve been doing captcha’s for 3 minutes and I keep getting this.
Imagine what a 8 year old kid would do when creating an account… They will just stop trying and don’t create an account.
This is a big issue which definitly needs a solution. The current captcha blocks humans.

I don’t know if the amount of captchas you get really depends on where you live. I’ve lived in the same home for years, and I get a variety of amounts of captchas. Sometimes I get 1, sometimes 5, 7, 10 and very rarely 20.

This just got up on another level.
So first I had to go through like 50 of them for 10 minutes.
Then when I got all of them right it prompted it back up.
So it’s basically an infinite loop of captchas.
I don’t understand why Roblox is so negligent that they dont fix a system that’s completely broken and blocks normal people from using the Service.
This is really bad reputation for roblox.

Why does it tell me that there’s only 5 balls to roll, and then once I complete those it tells me to roll 5 more? And to add insult to injury, it still tells me I got it wrong despite rolling them all correctly. Why hasn’t roblox ditched these terrible ball rolling captchas? Those weird dice ones at least seem to not have that second problem I listed.

Gosh, the dice captcha they’ve introduced is the WORST captcha I’ve ever done. At first, it shows I have to do ONLY 5, then at the 5th one, it magically increases to 9.
